Supademo review: what it is and what it does
Supademo is a platform for turning a software workflow into a demo that viewers click through. You capture it with the Chrome extension, the desktop app, the Figma plugin or an upload, edit it with hotspots, callouts, chapters and voiceovers, then share it as a link, an embed, a video or a PDF. Around that core it sells screen recordings up to 4K, step-by-step guides and an AI Demo Agent that answers buyer questions.
This review reads Supademo's pricing page, home page, terms and help docs as of October 24, 2026. Plan and feature statements below are attributed to the vendor page they come from.
Strengths: what the vendor's pages list
- Three demo formats: guided screenshot and video demos on every plan, guided HTML demos on Business and above, and sandbox demos on Growth and above, according to Supademo's demo types page.
- Embedding on every plan: the Free plan can place a single demo inline on a web page, and the help docs describe a responsive embed that loads only when a visitor scrolls near it.
- Lead capture: a form chapter with up to seven fields, an email gate and a business-email-only toggle, with CRM sync to HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, Zoho and Pipedrive. The docs place custom forms, email gates and lead tracking on Scale and above.
- Step-level analytics: the help docs say analytics shows where viewers drop off, and the plan comparison table lists overview analytics from Scale up.
- Free viewers: only Creator and Admin seats are paid, so teammates who watch, share and analyze demos without editing them do not add a seat.
Limits: where the Free plan stops
- Volume: one creator, five guided interactive demos and 50 video recordings, with unlimited external views.
- Branding and export: the watermark can be removed on Scale and above, and MP4 export on Free tops out at 1080p with a watermark, while the paid plans list up to 4K.
- Capture and tracking: the comparison table lists no lead forms, email gate, lead analytics, CRM integrations or custom domain on Free.
- AI tools: AI Command and the Supademo MCP server are paid features, listed from Scale up.
- Downgrades: if a paid workspace falls back to Free, existing demos stay viewable, but premium features, custom domains and branding are removed and the workspace cannot create more than five demos.
How seats change what Supademo costs
Paid plans bill per Creator or Admin seat. Scale bills each creator. Business includes one creator and bills extra creators one by one. Growth bundles five creators and bills extra creators one by one. Enterprise starts at ten creators on custom terms.
Viewers are free: they can view, share and analyze demos but cannot create or edit them. Scale lists five view-only collaborators and the higher plans list unlimited. The question to ask is therefore how many people build demos, not how many people watch. The Supademo pricing guide turns that into seat arithmetic.
Terms to read before you start a trial
- Trial: the pricing page offers a 14-day trial of paid plans with no credit card required, and the billing help says an account that does not subscribe returns to the Free plan afterward.
- Renewal: the terms say paid subscriptions are billed in advance and renew automatically for periods equal to the current term unless canceled before the next renewal.
- Refunds: the terms say Supademo generally does not provide refunds except as required by law or in enterprise agreements.
- Price changes: the terms allow pricing changes with advance notice, effective at renewal.
- AI Demo Agent: it runs on usage-based credits that are sold apart from seats, with 1,500 free credits per workspace, according to the vendor.
Who Supademo fits, and who should pick something else
- Fits: product marketers, founders and customer success leads at B2B software companies where one to five people build demos and a Free plan is a useful place to test the workflow.
- Consider Storylane if your sales team wants Hubs, which Storylane describes as digital sales rooms. Supademo vs Storylane sets the two side by side.
- Consider HowdyGo if many people will build demos, because its pricing page lists unlimited users on every plan. The best interactive demo software guide groups five tools by how each bills.
- Look at another tool's free plan if you need lead forms, analytics or a watermark-free embed before you pay for seats: Supademo lists all three from Scale, while Storylane's Free plan lists lead capture and basic analytics.
