What each free plan allows

Five tools offer a free plan for interactive demos, and the caps differ. Supademo's Free plan holds five guided demos for one creator, while Storylane, Arcade and Navattic allow one. Guideflow's free plan allows up to five guideflows. HowdyGo has no free plan, only a 14-day trial.

Each cap counts something different. Supademo limits a free workspace to five demos created. Storylane keeps one demo live at a time, and Arcade's interactive demo plans allow one published demo. Navattic's Starter plan includes one demo, HTML or media.

Supademo's first paid plan is Scale at $38 a month per creator on yearly billing. The last column gives each tool's first paid plan on yearly or annual billing, so the five prices sit on one basis.

Watermarks, lead forms and analytics on free plans

• Supademo: the "Made with Supademo" watermark stays, and Supademo's help says it cannot be removed on the free plan or during a trial. Custom forms and overview analytics start on Scale.
• Storylane: the Free plan lists lead capture and basic analytics. Custom branding starts on Starter.
• Arcade: forms, insights and watermark removal start on Growth.
• Navattic: its comparison grid ticks forms on every plan, Starter included.
• Guideflow: the Free card lists unlimited viewers, 7-day analytics and a watermark.

When a free plan is enough for a small team

One creator testing a website embed or a help-article demo can start on Supademo's Free plan. Embedding an individual demo works on every plan, Free included, and one creator can build up to five demos. The watermark stays on the published demo, and the plan card reads "Free forever for 1 creator".

The Free plan stops at one creator. If two people will build demos, that team moves to Scale, which Supademo's seat stepper prices at $76 a month on yearly billing for two creators, or $100 on monthly billing. Supademo Scale is $38 a month per creator on yearly billing and $50 on monthly billing. Storylane Starter is $40 a month on yearly billing and includes one seat. Arcade Growth is $42.50 a month per seat on yearly billing. Navattic Base is $500 a month, billed annually, with five seats. Guideflow Solo is $35 a month on yearly billing.
