Supademo vs Walnut: self-serve demo plans or a sales demo platform billed annually

Last reviewed October 24, 2026

Quick answerSupademo suits a small team that builds its own demos on a monthly or yearly plan. Pick Walnut if sales reps need Presenter seats and a yearly pool of AI credits: Ignite is $575 a month, billed annually.

Who each one is built for

Supademo is the self-serve choice for a small team that builds its own demos. Walnut is the sales-led platform for a team that wants Presenter seats and a yearly pool of AI credits. Supademo Growth is $350 a month on yearly billing with five creators included, or $450 a month on monthly billing. Walnut Ignite is $575 a month, billed annually, with 3 Editor seats and 3 Presenter seats.

Both headline prices are annual-billing figures, so they sit side by side month for month, though seats and features differ. A creator is Supademo's word for a paid team member who can record and edit demos. Supademo also sells a Free plan for one creator with five demos.

Walnut's plan comparison lists additional seats as an add-on and shows no price for them.

Seats: Supademo creators against Walnut Editor and Presenter seats

Supademo bills Creator and Admin seats only. Viewer and Billing Admin seats are always free, per its billing FAQ, and a viewer is an internal teammate who can view, share and analyze demos but not create or edit them. View-only collaborators are 5 on Scale and unlimited on Business and Growth. Growth includes five creators, and each extra creator is $50 a month on both yearly and monthly billing.

Walnut counts Editor seats and Presenter seats separately. Ignite includes 3 of each, and Accelerate includes 6 of each. Add up your builders and your presenters as two numbers before you set either Walnut plan beside a Supademo creator count.

AI credits, sandbox demos and CRM sync

Walnut's AI credits are a yearly allowance that comes with Ignite and Accelerate; Supademo's AI Demo Agent credits are prepaid, never expire and are sold apart from seats, so the two cannot be compared credit for credit. Walnut says there are no overage charges and that its AI pauses at 100 percent of the allowance. Supademo sells the AI Demo Agent on paid plans only.

Supademo's HTML demos start on Business and its sandbox demos on Growth, so Scale carries neither. Walnut's own pages disagree on sandbox demos: the Accelerate card lists them, and the plan comparison labels them an add-on.

On CRM sync, Walnut says Ignite syncs demo engagement data with HubSpot and Salesforce, and its comparison lists lead capture forms. On Supademo, custom forms, lead tracking and HubSpot, Salesforce and Marketo sync all start on Scale.

Who should pick Supademo and who should pick Walnut

  • Supademo for a small team that builds its own demos and wants a Free plan, monthly billing or five creators on Growth.
  • Walnut for a sales team that needs Presenter seats, a yearly credit pool with no overage charges and sandbox demos listed on Accelerate.

Supademo can be tried for 14 days on a paid plan with no card, while Walnut's pricing page sends buyers to book a demo. Supademo pricing lays out every plan and billing rule. Best demo automation software covers the other sales-led platforms, and Supademo alternatives covers the self-serve rivals.
