Is Supademo free? What the Free plan allows and how the 14-day trial works

Free for one creator, with five demos and a watermark

Yes. Supademo has a Free plan that its pricing page calls "Free forever for 1 creator" and that its help center says never expires. It costs $0 a month and holds five guided demos.

A guided demo is a step-by-step demo with hotspots, which are clickable markers on a step. A creator is a team member who can record and edit demos, and Free includes one. External views are unlimited on every plan, and each of the five demos can be embedded on a website or help page.

Supademo's pricing table lists screenshots as not included in Free, while its FAQ says every plan has unlimited screenshots, so test screenshot capture in a Free workspace before you count on it.

What the Supademo Free plan includes and leaves out

Free includes 50 video recordings of up to 10 minutes each. It leaves out lead forms, analytics, HubSpot sync and a custom domain, which start on Scale.

It also has no HTML demos (replicas of a product page built from its HTML and CSS, from Business) and no sandbox demos (replicas viewers click through freely, from Growth).

How the Supademo 14-day trial works

Scale, Business or Growth can be tried for 14 days, and Supademo's pricing FAQ says no credit card is required. Enterprise trials are arranged case by case. Each account gets one trial, and a trial cannot be paused. The trial is separate from the Free plan, which has no end date.

Supademo's FAQ says the 14-day trial lets you test custom branding and custom domains, while its branding help says the watermark cannot be removed during a trial, so check the watermark in the trial before you rely on it.

What happens on day 14 or after a downgrade

When the 14 days end without a subscription, paid features end and the account returns to Free. A downgrade also happens automatically after three failed payment attempts. Existing demos stay published, viewable and editable, but the workspace cannot create more than five demos. Custom domains and branding are removed, and a custom domain set up in a trial is lost unless you upgrade first.

When the Free plan is enough, and when to pay

A customer-success lead who embeds step-by-step demos in help articles and onboarding emails can stay on Free while one person builds and five demos cover the job. Supademo's help says email clients do not render iframes, so the email version is a linked GIF or thumbnail, and GIF export is on Free.

Pay when a second person needs to edit demos, or when the job needs lead forms, analytics or HubSpot sync. Scale is $50 a month per creator billed monthly, or $38 billed yearly, and the Supademo pricing guide covers Business and Growth.
